Admitted at the Paris Bar in 2011, after legal studies in International Trade Law at Nanterre University and International Law at Passas Panthéon University, Victoire REVENAZ started her career with a Paris firm specializing in insurance matters.

There, she handled more specifically issues relative to industrial risks, tort law and commercial law, most often in a litigation context.

Since 2013, Victoire REVENAZ has developed a strong practice in Maritime law and Transports with Bertrand COURTOIS at Courtois & Finkelstein. Victoire is an expert in cargo recovery work and subrogated matters and she appears often before the French courts to defend subrogated Underwriters interests, both French and European.

She has also been deeply involved in the handling of major accident cases such as the sinking of the “COSTA CONCORDIA” on January 13, 2012 off the Italian island of Giglio, or the crash of the AIR ALGERIE flight AH5017 and the EGYPTAIR flight MS804 which occurred in Mali and the Mediterranean on 24 July 2014 and 19 May 2016 respectively.

Victoire REVENAZ has developed a large clientele of French and foreign cargo Underwriters as well as insurance intermediaries, freight forwarders and foreign lawyers.

She is a Member of the French Maritime Law Association (AFDM) and Young Maritime Law Association (YMLA).
